Celebrate Heritage and Festive Joy at the Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2026
Step into a world of tradition and festive cheer as the Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2026 arrives at Lot One Shoppers’ Mall. This vibrant celebration offers a unique opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the rich customs of the Lunar New Year through a curated blend of games, storytelling, and interactive arts.
Engage Your Mind and Spirit
For those who enjoy a mental challenge, the Singapore Xiangqi General Association will be hosting a Xiangqi Puzzle Adventure. It is a fantastic way to test your strategic skills against the experts. Meanwhile, the Speak Mandarin Campaign and Speak Good English Movement will be leading storytelling sessions, bringing the legendary tales and folklore of the Lunar New Year to life for a new generation of listeners.
A Spectacular Lineup of Performances
The festival grounds will be buzzing with energy thanks to an extensive schedule of live entertainment. Visitors can marvel at the power and grace of traditional Lion and Dragon dance performances or watch the delicate strokes of Chinese ink painting during a live demonstration by Mr. Tan Yip Seng from ARTualize. The stage will also host a diverse array of talent, including soulful Chinese music by Silk Energy, a charming Children’s Teochew opera performance by Nam Hwa Opera, and an enchanting oriental magic show by Calvin Teo. For a bit of whimsical fun, don't miss the mesmerising bubble stage show presented by CJ The Bubble Girl.
Hands-On Workshops and Family Fun
The festival’s parent-child workshops have already seen an incredible response. Participants will have the chance to explore nostalgic "treasures" from their grandparents' era with Chen Weijun, or get creative with Andy from a²+rt Studio to craft beautiful revolving lanterns. Beyond the workshops, the annual Lunar New Year Family Fun Contest offers everyone a chance to participate together and walk away with exciting prizes.
