I finished scooping the ingredients. The staff spoke loudly, saying I scooped too little. They said if I scooped less than $10, they would not stir-fry the food for me. They also told me to put all the ingredients back into the same compartment I scooped them from. Then the staff knocked the container and acted dissatisfied. This kind of service is very bad. I will definitely not eat at this restaurant again. The staff is very bad.

Daylight robbery.
The soup base itself was $5.
The seaweed chicken was $1 each.
The soup was really oily, and some parts of the rice weren't cooked very well — there were a few hard grains.

Daylight robbery. So freaking expensive and cost my partner and I nearly $30. It’s actually yummy, not gonna lie, but too expensive. I took a few slices of meat, and it was $6.40. That’s really crazy.

I bought no meat, and yet this cost $16.60.
I was shocked when I heard the price and asked for a receipt to check it. The receipt itself was already super suspicious: $3 for hotpot base, $7.60 for mushroom?? and over $4 for 1 sausage.
The portion looked even smaller. Absolutely a scam. The person serving was also unprofessional, taking her own sweet time.
The food was also mediocre and super oily. Not recommended.

If you are reading this, do not buy from this mala shop. My bill for 2 people was $41. For context, one vegetable item was $4.80, the enoki was $3.50, and everything else was overpriced. The food itself was below average for a mala; it lacked much flavor and was too oily for the non-spicy soup option.

Daylight robbery. My first time ordering from here, a meal with quail eggs, mushroom, 2 baby corn, and dried tofu cost me $17.90. Shocked. Another girl came up and asked me how much my malar was. I told her the price, and hers was $21. We were both unimpressed. First and last time ordering from there. I hope they close down soon.

The best mala flavour suited to my Malay/Indian taste buds. I usually check with them if they are selling the one-person set for about $8. This set is a dealer's choice, including chicken and whatever vegetables they choose.
However, it's less likely that they will have the set at dinner time. So, it's best to check for its availability. I only eat if they have the set available because it's very expensive otherwise...

Congratulations on yet another one-star review. This is by far the worst value-for-money Mala I have ever had. I ordered one bundle of cabbage, one clump of beansprouts, one sausage, and one clump of chicken.
The same order would've cost me $9 at Blk302 Food Court, just five minutes away, and $11 where I work at Tanjong Pagar. But at Lot 1 Monster Chili, it cost me $20.70. Ridiculous! And the worst part is, the price isn't the end of it.
The meat was 'tenderizer chicken.' I say it that way because it tasted exactly like tenderizer. And if you don't know what that tastes like, try it and you'll find out. The beansprouts were old, oxidized, and had a lot of brown hues all over them.
Also, the cashier lady isn't trained for cashiering. She asked me how to use CapitaLand vouchers and how to use the POS system to collect payment via PayWave. The chicken rice aunty had to step in to help.
Without a doubt, I will not be coming back.

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! (The portion shown in the picture was taken immediately after opening the lid, before it was eaten.)
I went there to order one portion and was surprised when the cashier told me it cost $20! I was shocked and said, "That's too much for one portion." When I asked what was making it expensive, the lady said it was the vegetable. So I went back in line to reduce the items (which left me with almost nothing on my plate). Since I have etiquette, I didn't cancel the order as the meat and vegetables had already been touched.
In short, I ended up paying $12.30 for THIS SMALL ORDER! They charge $3 for soup base!!! The dish was so oily it's almost unconsumable. This place is scamming people. 80% of my bowl is filled with kangkong. I didn't even order beef, and they charged me $1.30 for beef!? DO NOT order from their place unless you have money to waste. The taste isn't even good. A child could manage this outlet better; this is absurd!😡 They need proper people with basic business knowledge to operate this shop!

Hope they close down... They charge by item rather than weight. We paid 22.60 for two people. At this point, just postpone your mala craving and eat at Chuan Tai Zi; it's still cheaper.
The food was overcooked, the meat extremely tough, and the shrimp tasteless.
A Chinese lady at the counter was talking over the food with no mask on. This is zero service, not what's expected from a proper F&B establishment.
The mala had zero 'ma' (numbing sensation), and the 'la' (spiciness) did not pair well with how the food was served. (We enjoy 'dala'.)
