The other reviewer is so obviously a paid reviewer. The food items are marinated off-site and cooked in bulk at the shop, then displayed in the heated cabinet. Nothing fresh about the food at all. But to give it credit, it's well-marinated and passable as a meal when you're craving meat, there aren't any decent Western stalls around, or you just can't be bothered to cook up some pre-packaged food. Just don't expect anything to be juicy. If the supermarket were big enough to have a rotisserie counter, this stall wouldn't have survived for so many years. Also, be prepared to be covered in a layer of grease even just passing by when the oven is in operation. Please do something about the exhaust, or reduce your batch sizes.

Ribs and fish are super good, but super expensive. Can only eat once in a while. Discount on 500g of ribs.

One of the worst outlets. I ordered through the Grab app, spending over $40 on food from this specific outlet at Lot One. The BBQ chicken set meal turned out to be small chicken cubes from a processed food tin, and it was a pathetic serving. The fried 'karate chicken' was so hard, as if it hadn't been preheated or even cooked properly. Horrible experience ordering the food. Just one piece of advice for the owner of this outlet: “Don’t deceive patrons ordering Grab food from your outlet with your fake food pictures when, in the end, it doesn’t look similar to what was ordered.” Not recommended at all. Jai hind.

I visited Lot1 BBQ Express on 1 Nov and 30 Nov 2024, and the lady cashier overcharged on both dates. When I checked the receipts, she said the POS machine cannot key in meal sets. Please request your receipt and check it before you leave.

Japanese-style BBQ specialises in Honey Boneless Chicken. Love the Spring Chicken, Roasted Honey Chicken Drumsticks, Honey Chicken Wings, BBQ Pork Ribs, Roasted Pork Belly, Teriyaki Saba, Fried Chicken Cutlet, BBQ Sausages, Honey Char Siew, and Crispy Chicken. Conveniently located in the heart of the Lot One neighbourhood, it's within walking distance to Choa Chu Kang MRT, with plenty of dining, shopping, banking, supermarkets, groceries, sundries, postage services, Keat Hong Community Club, and other amenities nearby. Friendly, cosy, comfy, welcoming ambience for romantic dates, groups, students, expats, locals, visitors, and families.

Dishonest store. Wanted to buy chicken labelled as "Teriyaki Chicken Steak" at $3.70/pc, but the seller took a piece of the chicken, put it on the weighing scale, and wanted to charge by weight. Upon asking, he said that the chicken I wanted was sold by weight at $3.77/100g, which was labelled "Honey Boneless Chicken." His reason was that he had just put the price tag there and that I should ask which price I should be paying! The piece of chicken upon weighing was over $5. So I wonder how many people were misled into paying more for the Teriyaki chicken steak. After telling him he should put the chicken with the correct price label, he just ignored and continued his work!
