I don't post bad reviews, but I feel I had to. The price tag on the sushi showed $3. I wanted to buy 2 boxes since it had 50% off for a minimum purchase of $6. Upon payment, the staff tore off the price tags, said the 2 boxes were wrongly tagged, and asked for $3.90. Feeling cheated, I walked away.

After eating food from their outlet, I fell seriously ill and was diagnosed with food poisoning. No compensation or goodwill gesture was offered.

Ordered the Zuki salmon don. The sashimi texture was coarse and did not taste good at all. There was only one thinly sliced cucumber, cut in half. Could be more generous with cucumber. This will be my first and last order. I will not spend $12.80 on this again.

Do not buy from this stall. $6.80 for mediocre food with a pathetic portion 😏 Doubt the sushi and other food on the menu are good anyway 🙄 No wonder no queue…

Yesterday I bought a tray of salmon sushi for my granddaughter, which is her favorite. I was surprised that it is now priced at $5.90, which was usually $8.90. She took one bite and threw out the whole piece. She told me that it tasted funny. I didn't dare to try, for I don't like salmon sushi. I went back to the stall and was told that the salmon is from Brazil instead of the usual source. I told them quality is important for the stall's reputation. I got my refund, which was very sincere of them.

Avoid patronizing this stall in Choa Chu Kang. My son got food poisoning from this stall, and after asking for medical compensation, they refused. They showed absolutely no compassion for the situation, and it took them two months to reply to the case. Coming from the food industry myself, this is the most absurd decision they made. Therefore, they deserve this 1-star review. Attached is the reply they sent, and if they were taking this matter seriously, they would have compensated. There is a complete discrepancy in their reply.

Went to Mendon today to buy lunch. Ordered chicken soboru udon, which wasn't meant to be spicy, but was very spicy. Tried to call the shop multiple times, but no one picked up.

Not worth buying. I ordered the chicken katsu don, but they got my order wrong even though they checked it before handing me the plastic bag (they gave me the ebi fry don instead). Although the ebi fry don cost more, I do not think it was even worth the price of the chicken katsu don I paid for. I only got two small pieces of ebi furai that were about 80% batter and some eggs, which was not filling at all. They tasted fine, which is why I am giving it two stars. However, I would advise looking for other food options if you are in Lot 1.

My first time buying from this place. NEVER AGAIN!! I ordered the chicken katsu curry don and paid extra for a seasoned egg on the side. In the end, no seasoned egg was given. I only found out about it when I reached home, thinking the egg was mixed in with the curry. I paid extra for nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! WHAT A SCAM!! The portion was terrible.

Menu photos and the food served are totally different, except for the general category of the dishes. The 'hotate' is just scallop. The 'salmon' is just scraps from sashimi. Putting it on top of ginger only partially cooks it, so you get semi-cooked sashimi by the time it gets home. It's totally not worth it; you can get much better elsewhere. Service is not great either; the kiosk issues queue numbers, but there is no queue indicator. The waiting area is crowded as well.
