Just because we are not looking, doesn't mean you can SCAM us!!! I smelled something burnt while I was on the bus, but I just ignored it. When I reached home, I realized the burnt smell was from the pancake I'd bought from the Lot One outlet!! It was really burnt! Where is the quality control? You should not sell them. I tasted it, and of course, it tasted bitter due to the burnt parts. Disappointed!

It's a pancake, but I can't tell it's a peanut pancake, nor that it's the Munchies I knew.
Looks like I'll have to add my own peanut butter. 😰
Hope Munchies looks into this. Maybe it's newly opened, and the staff are new.

After receiving the response from Munchi below, I thought I'd give this Lot One branch another try. Sadly, it was not to be. I still had to add my own peanut butter. See the 2nd photo... So sparse... pathetic... 😭
Maybe I'm just unlucky. But the Hillion Mall branch has not disappointed me so far. No more Munchi for me from Lot One. Mr Bean for me.

The MJK texture is so weird; just look at the MJK in the picture. The standard at Lot One is very bad. The Senja hawker is better. Please look into the staff making MJK at Lot One. He does not seem well-trained enough.

No doubt, Munchi hands down has the best and most consistent MJK. However, Lot One's operation is a mess. The team has very poor teamwork and communication; what should be a simple pancake order often gets mixed up, and you can see the staff bickering with each other while looking confused.
This is the main reason for the 1-star rating. Mind you, it's a 4-by-2-meter shop; they are very well staffed with three on cooking and two on service. Out of the five times we have gone, they consistently said Munchi pancake needs one hour. It got us to think they probably mill the flour from scratch, fetch water from the river, and cook the filling from scratch.
We have been buying Munchi from when they were at the kopitiam at HDB CCK building, as well as Hillion Mall. We experienced the same crowd, but were never consistently told the wait was one hour.
Please relook into the operations and the team.
FYI, Chateraise is giving free pancake without an hour's wait.
