The outlet itself has no issues. The staff are polite and explain things. This review is for online ordering. When ordering online, the only pickup store shown is Changi Airport outlet. Imagine travelling 3 hours to collect your cake from the West! I can reach Bali by then. Also the customer support over phone is very poor and most of the time it is difficult to get through to the human operator.

I had to call Bengawan Solo Lot 1 branch and was surprised to see the low ranking reviews. I visited this branch often and find the staff very helpful and personable.

The shop supposedly opens at 10am but the staff says their popular food items only arrive at 1pm. Why would they open so early then?

The store receives the kuehs VERY late in the day. I was planning to buy at 12pm, and most of the kueh hasn’t arrive. Made a wasted trip down.

The aunties there are polite and nice. The kuehs however only arrive after 1pm, maybe can review delivery schedule. Food portion also getting smaller. The pandan cheese Swiss roll per piece $2.6, getting thinner and thinner per slice. :( taste is good though

The line service needs to have an improvement. I’ve been waiting for 15-20 mins but whenever someone cuts in front of me, they’re getting served first(2-3 times). I’ve called out multiple times but doesn’t seem to help the situation.

I recently purchased a pandan cake from your store, but unfortunately, it had a sour taste and seemed to be going bad. This was unexpected, as I have always associated Bengawan Solo with high standards of quality. Could you please look into this issue? Will not return to this outlet

For so so many years & the kueh always arrived so late at 1 or 1+ pm. One of my favourite choice for afternoon snack & family gathering but most of time never get a chance to fulfill. Just saw so many customers wanted to patronise but all left with disappointment including myself. I think they are more interested in their take away business at the airport.
