Food is decent, and the price is reasonable if you don't add on extra dishes. They charge 30 cents for takeaway in a paper box. If you dine in, they serve on brown paper. They should use the brown paper to pack the takeaway and stop charging 30 cents.

Do not visit this stall on the ground floor, because they dare to serve undercooked rice to customers. Overall, I have never seen such poor standards. They are under the EAT group, operating as Hainan Scissors Curry Rice. Please be cautious when ordering takeout. If possible, they don't even deserve a star.

They ran out of egg, so I had to order à la carte. I should have walked away, as it's $5 for a pork chop and long bean. The rice was just cooked and mushy, and tasted bad, almost as if it wasn't cooked at all. See the photos. It deserves 0 stars.

Even though I've reviewed Fei Seong, this rice dish stall is expensive. They don't bother and don't change; the elderly lady's attitude is bad too, and she charges much higher than others; portions have also become smaller! On 22/4/24, broccoli was $1.50, sardine $1.50, and tau kwa $1.00 (outside, one whole piece of fried tau kwa or lor costs only $0.80). Long bean eggs were $1.50. The meal in the photo cost $5.50! Dishes are cold too. 👎🏻 Terribly expensive! The food here is getting expensive. Did you see a chicken drumstick in this box? I never ordered chicken drumstick, but was charged S$3 for the fried chicken bits. See attached.

Really, buy at your own risk. The so-called braised pork was so poorly cooked; its meat and skin were tough, and the fat was so dense. The eggplant skin was tough, and its inside was so gooey. The uncooked bitter gourd could not be eaten. I returned the plate to the cashier. I will never visit this stall. I've been buying from them, but the quality has dropped. The price was $6.20 for 1 piece of braised pork, 1 serving of eggplant, and 1 serving of bitter gourd with mushy rice. I wouldn't mind the price if the food were edible.

This store has the worst business model ever. Never eat from here. I was told by the server that their supplier has not given them eggs, so they currently don't have any. Hence, they can only sell à la carte and cannot change the egg in the set to something else. It's not that I don't want the egg, but that you don't have the egg. So, the set is $4.80, but à la carte without egg is $4.70, which is ridiculous. This store deserves 0 stars, but I don't have that choice. No wonder it's 1.5* on Google.

Wow. I thought I might have been the only one who felt that this was the worst Hainanese curry rice I have ever eaten. Boy, am I wrong. Please don’t waste money 😭 They put too much water in the rice, so it became cakey and felt like I was eating kueh. The pork chop was so dry, but not the worst ingredient in this packet. I added lady fingers, and they were okay! Soft and seasoned well. But the rice is a huge turn off 😩

Lousy. I really need to check reviews, even for a normal stall that has people buying. The à la carte rice was so expensive! The portion was small compared to the price. The pork chop rice also had no taste, very different from the other brand's. Bad experience.

DO NOT EVER BUY ALA CARTE FROM THIS STALL, because how on earth was this $9? Braised pork: $3.50 (1 pc only) Fried chicken: $3 Broccoli: $1.50 Rice: $0.70 Takeaway: $0.30 Much better off buying their set meals, like the pork chop one priced at $4.90. But then again, their set meal options are limited, which compels you to buy ala carte instead. Or, if they run out of a certain item in the set meal, they will say they cannot sell the set anymore and must sell via ala carte, and cannot exchange, e.g., fried sunny side up with another kind of fried egg. What kind of logic is this? Take note! First-time buyers, don't be conned! I thought I was the only one getting grumpy about this stall until I was alerted to this whole flak of lousy reviews here!

This Hainanese Curry Rice Store has become my Mountain Everest of Dismay. The main draw for us is always the mixed curry and stew sauce... My 3-portion takeaway order faced its horror!!! No sauces, plain rice, and porkchop with 1 egg. My God... Cut Cut Fragrance, Please refund me my hard-earned $22.30 :(
