I would give zero stars if the option were available. The food looks more pathetic than caifan elsewhere. The cabbage is just a small serving – for a baby, perhaps? The egg is also very small. The orange gravy shouldn't even be called curry. I saw others ordering caifan-style, and their serving portion was even worse. Super disappointing. This shop should really be closed ASAP.
The aunties were just chitchatting while serving the dinner crowd. I had to wait for them to pause in their conversation before I could chip in to place my order and make my payment.
Please just close...

Food tastes okay.
Set meals are reasonably priced.
Not recommended to order à la carte.

Came here for lunch. Ordered a plate of rice with 1 serving of braised pork (4 slices), 1 serving of cabbage, and 1 serving of potatoes. Mushy rice. Expensive. Do not recommend. Paid $6.20 for this meal…

I feel sad for the shop owner. With only 1.6 stars on Google Reviews, how are they still dishing out such a low-standard, curriless Hainanese curry pork chop? If only they put 90% more curry, and their curry didn't separate into chili oil and paste, and they used more and larger pieces of veggies, and a thicker pork chop (e.g., 6mm instead of 4mm). I paid $5.10 for takeaway. Encik Tan's curry chicken pork chop beats this one multiple times. They should close the shop or conduct a complete review of the food they serve. The food was totally different from the photo displayed. If I could get a refund, I would.

I had the worst experience here. Firstly, the aunty couldn't even open her ears and listen. I did not say I wanted the 豆干 at all, yet she kept putting it inside. She also didn't even wear proper attire (wearing home clothes).
Next, when I ordered two portions of food, she just gave me a bag of curry (which was pretty little, barely enough for one person who likes more sauce) and said I couldn't take another packet for the other portion I bought.
This is some of the worst customer service you can ever get if you buy from here.

Food is decent, price is reasonable if you don’t add additional dishes. They charge 30 cents for takeaway in a paper box. If you dine in, they serve on brown paper. They should use the brown paper to pack the takeaway and stop charging 30 cents.

Do not visit this stall on the ground floor because they dare to serve undercooked rice to customers. Overall, I have never seen such poor standards. They are under the EAT group, operating as Hainan Scissors Curry Rice. Please be cautious when ordering takeout. If possible, they don't even deserve one star.

They ran out of eggs, so I had to choose à la carte. I should have walked away, as it's $5 for a pork chop and long beans. The rice was poorly cooked, mushy, and tasted bad, almost as if it hadn't been cooked at all. See the photos. It deserves 0 stars.

Even though I reviewed Fei Seong, this rice dishes stall is expensive. They don't bother to change, and the elderly lady's attitude is bad; she also charges much higher than others. Portions have become smaller too! On 22/4/24, I purchased: broccoli $1.50, sardine $1.50, and tau kwa $1.00 (outside, one whole piece of fried tau kwa or 'lor' only costs $0.80). Long bean eggs were $1.50, making the meal in the photo cost $5.50! Dishes are cold too👎🏻. Terribly expensive!! The food here is getting expensive. Did you see a chicken drumstick in this box? I never order chicken drumsticks, but I was charged S$3 for the fried chicken bits. See attached.

Really, buy at your own risk. The so-called braised pork is so poorly cooked. Its meat and skin are tough, and the fat is so dense. The eggplant skin is tough, and its inside is so gooey. The uncooked bitter gourd cannot be eaten. I returned the plate to the cashier. I will never visit this stall again. I've been buying from them, but the quality has dropped. The price is $6.20 for 1 piece of braised pork, 1 serving of eggplant, and 1 serving of bitter gourd with mushy rice. I wouldn't mind the price if the food were edible.
