Young lady mistakenly gave fried sotong (supposed to be Sotong ball) + fish ball is $3.20 and I give $10.00 and told one of the lady see if I have $0.20 and she got impatient with me when I told her I don't have $0.20. Attitude problem.

Bought their chicken chunky pop, sardine puff, sotong head, fishball & nugget this morning @ about 10 plus in the morning. My husband was happily eating it until he saw plastic inside. When we take out, it was a glove. How can the aunty who packed it not know that there’s glove? Its so disgusting 🥴🤢. Please check before packing the food!

obviously the food is good but the cashier was rude and worst attitude .

The standard dropped so much. The curry puff is so small now compare to last time. Used to buy from OCK regularly. Not anymore

The stated opening hour is 10, but they only begin preparing the food at that time. So, the food will only be ready by 10:45, according to what they mentioned.

As seen in all comments, the lady behind the cashier, a Malay lady named Wahida is extremely rude. Their paywave did not seem to be functioning as the transaction cancelled twice by itself given that I tried 2 different paywave card options. She then told me to either scan to pay or cash. I requested for the amount again and I believe she had just told someone else $4.20 and I rechecked with her mine is $4.20? And she raised her voice at me angrily and said $2.20! I then asked for her name which she didn't tell but the staff have a name tag. With numerous of complains on their service, I wonder why Old Chang Kee has not taken any action to correct their staff

Totally inedible curry puff. Mushy, wet and no taste at all of chicken and potatoes. Looks like a blob of wet paste in an limp pastry casing. Couldn't even eat half of it. Terrible !!

It was my first time at Lot One Old Chang Kee, the queue there wasn’t packed. What caught me by surprise was the staff’s attitude. I did not recall her name but all I remember is that she’s an middle age Chinese auntie at the front counter asking customers about their order.
When it was my turn, I politely asked her if I can get one chicken curry puff and one sotong - but I did not imply which sotong I wanted. This was where the incident started to occur. She seemed to be at an angsty mood and used a somewhat not so polite tone to ask me for which sotong I wanted.
I understand that she may be overwhelmed for the day but as someone who is doing customer service is this an attitude you should be speaking to your customer? I just hope that this incident will not reoccur in any instance and may the management team train their staffs with proper customer service attitude. Thanks.

Lucky that my daughter saw something stuck out from the fishball before she gave it a bite. Please be careful when preparing the food!

The rudest attitude was displayed by a malay muslim women worker. The flavours of the items are nice, but the employee are extremely unpleasant, therefore I won't be shopping there anymore.

Cashier, the service is very poor. Today's date is August 16, 2024. With your behavior, there will be fewer and fewer customers in the future! Rubbish service, gloomy face, owe you tens of millions?

Burned and rude. The auntie working there have attitude problem. She wanna quarrel with me. I did nothing wrong at all. I just ask nicely if there any sotong wing. But she keep repeating dun have dun have. And force me to buy the sotong head. End up I buying but guess what. I buy all 3 stick. All burned. Does even taste good. Not just burned. But very dark chocolate color burned. And I have no choice but to eat it all because its expensive. Cost me $5 dollars plus for 3 stick of very burned gummy sotong. Sad.

Horrible service. I am a regular customer of old chang kee in outlets and I am utterly disappointed with the customer service in this outlet. Treats customer like an idiot and gives a horrible attitude. Store is so small and the door is only enough for 1 person to pass through at any one time - definitely not able to maintain social distancing. The variation there isn't as great as the other stores during peak hours and the food brought there was cold and hard at times. Will never buy from there again.

Tot the food standard should be the same across all outlets… but I was wrong. OCK is well known for the unfriendly and rude staffs for most outlets but I didn’t expect that the food quality @ CCK is different as compared to others.

I would like to point one of the staff behind the counter, not a people person. I honestly prefer being serve by anyone but her, too bad i didn't catch her name. An auntie who seems to have bad day everyday, attitude problem. No smile or even a simple thank you, not loving the vibe she gave me on some mornings i need to buy my breakfast before work. Why hire this type of people at the first place?
