The rudest attitude was displayed by a Malay Muslim woman worker. The flavours of the items are nice, but the employee is extremely unpleasant; therefore, I won't be shopping there anymore.

It was my first time at Lot One Old Chang Kee, and the queue wasn't packed. What caught me by surprise was the staff's attitude. I didn't recall her name, but all I remember is that she's a middle-aged Chinese auntie at the front counter taking orders.
When it was my turn, I politely asked her if I could get a chicken curry puff and a sotong, but I didn't specify which sotong I wanted. This is where the incident began. She seemed to be in an angsty mood and used a somewhat impolite tone to ask me which sotong I wanted.
I understand that she may have been overwhelmed that day, but as someone in customer service, is this an appropriate attitude to display towards a customer? I just hope that this incident will not recur, and that the management team will train their staff in proper customer service. Thanks.

Totally inedible curry puff. Mushy, wet, and had no taste at all of chicken and potatoes. It looked like a blob of wet paste in a limp pastry casing. I couldn't even eat half of it. Terrible!!

As seen in many comments, the lady behind the cashier, a Malay lady named Wahida, is extremely rude. Their PayWave did not seem to be functioning, as the transaction cancelled twice by itself, given that I tried two different PayWave card options. She then told me to either scan to pay or pay with cash. I requested the amount again. I believe she had just told someone else $4.20, so I rechecked with her, "Mine is $4.20?" She then raised her voice at me angrily and said, "$2.20!" I then asked for her name, which she didn't tell, but the staff wear name tags. With numerous complaints about their service, I wonder why Old Chang Kee has not taken any action to correct their staff.

The stated opening hour is 10, but they only begin preparing the food at that time. So, the food will only be ready by 10:45, as they mentioned.

The standard dropped so much. The curry puff is so small now compared to last time. Used to buy from OCK regularly. Not anymore.

Bought their chicken chunky pop, sardine puff, sotong head, fishball, and nugget this morning around 10 AM. My husband was happily eating it until he saw plastic inside. When we took it out, it was a glove. How could the aunty who packed it not know there was a glove? It's so disgusting 🥴🤢. Please check before packing the food!
