Though it was peak dinner timing, the staff were still very friendly to diners. Orders were prepared quite fast. Staff were also quick to clear off the tables once diners had finished and left the restaurant.
The Ramadan set meal was delicious and cooked well. The only negative point is that the cheese sticks were overcooked. The rest of the food was good.

Fast service, but note that it can get crowded towards dinner time, so you might be better off getting a takeaway from them instead of dining in. Calamari is a recommendation; the batter is nicely spiced and not too thick, so it goes well with the squid. Aglio olio is sufficiently garlicky and flavourful, and Iād also recommend the cheesy crumble series if you prefer cream-based pastas.

"EDIT: Okay, so we've ordered a few more times since the last review, and the pastas have been perfect each time. Food was great, with good portions and not too long a wait. So, I believe it might have been an off day, with their usual staff unavailable. We also received all our condiments in the correct amount. Hopefully, it stays this way, and we will always continue patronizing.
(I will update this review in the future if we order again and the food tastes good. If that's the case, then perhaps there was a newbie cook today.)
I have dined in or ordered delivery every now and then. We've had good experiences most of the time ā the food is great, and service is great most of the time ā but is it going down again?
Today, I ordered Aglio Olio, and it was really sad. In this economy, I'm paying for bad food, and worst of all, we were contemplating making food at home. We should have just eaten at home. It was so bland: extra chili padi than usual, not enough garlic or olive oil. They only gave one packet of Parmesan cheese and chili flakes, even though we had multiple orders. Not sure if it's because it's PH Raya tomorrow, and all the good cooks are on holiday or something? Why were the condiments missing too? Were they understaffed today?
The food was so bad, I was fighting with my family for the condiments and over who used up more than the other. The Parmesan isn't even that good to begin with, but the food was that bad today.
We also only received one set of utensils.
A few days back, my sister placed a pickup order for Pastamania. It was estimated to take 20-30 minutes for the order to be ready, but she went to check around 10-15 minutes in. There was barely any crowd (3-4 tables), no visible delivery orders, and no people waiting. She asked the staff if the food would be ready soon. They replied that if it wasn't ready yet, then it wasn't. Pastamania waits until the exact time indicated on the app to release the food for collection.
Hopefully, it's good again the next time we eat."

Our child spilled a drink and messed up the entire place. Cindy was patient and kind, getting us to move to another table to eat and cleaning up the entire space by herself. Food and service were great from Pasta Mania Lot 1 as always. Grateful for the assistance and professionalism from everyone, especially Cindy! ā”

I had the cheesy crumble pasta with bacon and their soup set with the cheesy garlic bread trio. I loved it so much that I will recommend it to anyone. Especially cheese lovers. The atmosphere and staff were good, and they have a wide variety to choose from. I will definitely come back again. Thumbs up! 10/10.

This isn't my first time here. This is my usual hangout for dinner. But today, the food was very disappointing. This is the very first time the food was so tasteless, despite the staff trying to re-prepare it for me.

Really love the vibes of the place. The food is delicious as well, especially the garlic bread. Loved the combination with the mushroom cream soup (apologies if I've misremembered the name). The server was also really kind and helpful. And quite mesmerized by the cook (Nazri, I believe?). They seemed so high energy and beautiful to watch. A 10/10 experience for me (and my friend). Keep it up Pastamania.

Excellent food and amazing service!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Pastamania Lot 1. The food was delicious and served fresh. Special thanks to Aliyah for her friendly service, and to Manager Cindy for being incredibly patient and kind as we took our time figuring out our order. The place is very family-friendly ā we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout. Highly recommend for a casual and satisfying meal! š
