Recently reopened, everything looks so good and updated. The new seats are so comfy. The auditoriums are now on the second floor, and the best part is that you can't hear the noise from the arcade anymore! The concession area is smaller, but the arcade took up most of the lower floor where the ticket counters used to be.

First time at Lot 1 Shaw's for New Creation Church service. First service: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Second service: 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. After the service, if you wish to spend time at the Zoo, Bird Paradise, River Safari, or Night Safari, just take bus 927 from Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange.

Projection issues that ruin immersion. Unacceptable lag during screening. I went here (Shaw, Lot 1) to see 2 movies this past month: A Minecraft Movie and Sinners. Both screenings were at two different halls. And at both screenings, the movies stuttered in places. It would be playing normally, and then suddenly the frame and audio would get stuck for half a second. This happened at multiple points throughout both movies. Completely unacceptable. I wanted to get my money back after the second time but refrained. Won't be watching here again.

Thank you to the kind staff of this cinema for helping me and even bringing my snack to the theatre once ready, so I didn’t have to miss the movie. You all are great!

Isetan offers an integrated mall with shopping and dining. Love going to Shaw cinema! However, the parking space is so cramped that I had to wait for the next car to exit before I could get into my car. Don't park in between.

Watched How to Train Your Dragon today. Theatre 6 had a problem with one of their speakers, emitting a buzzing sound throughout the entire movie. Not a pleasant watch, but after the movie, they took my complaint seriously and immediately called someone to check on it. Kudos to them. I'm sure the staff don't get paid enough, and their prompt action was much appreciated. But just so they know: if it happens again and isn't fixed, I will walk out and expect a refund. Thanks.

I would really give 0 stars if possible, but these specific staff members here are really rude and annoying. I don't understand why they keep shouting at people. For example, in the queue for popcorn, a staff member was screaming for no reason, as if they couldn't calm down and take it slow. And also, why scream when you can talk nicely to others? This literally made us miss a part of the movie. I would recommend you not to sit at the top row if you don't want to be disturbed by the staff opening and closing the door. Definitely not coming here again.

Let’s talk about Dania at the cinema—because her attitude was absolutely unacceptable. All she had to do was take an order, yet she acted like it was the most painful task in the world. The constant eye-rolling, the cold tone, and the miserable expression on her face made it clear she didn’t want to be there—and honestly, it showed. Is taking an order really that hard? Or does she genuinely believe that this kind of behavior meets Shawn Theatres’ customer service standards? If so, that’s pathetic. Working in customer service means interacting with people respectfully. If she can’t handle that, maybe she’s in the wrong job. People pay good money to enjoy their time at the cinema—not to deal with rude, unprofessional staff who act like they’re doing you a favor by doing the bare minimum. Get it together, because this kind of attitude drives customers away.

Kitty and I were in the mood for a movie treat, and we decided to cycle from Punggol to Jurong Jem for the movie. Unfortunately, we found out that the cinema was closed. We decided to head to Choa Chu Kang Lot 1 Shopping Centre to catch a movie at their Shore Theatre instead. When we reached the theatre, the ticket counter was small, but the lady server was very kind and helped us pick a movie time that was closest to what we wanted. We got there around 6 PM, and there was a movie starting at 6:40 PM. After the movie, a really nice worker from the theatre guided us to the lift because the escalators were only going up, and we needed to get our trifold bike down to level 1. He even pointed out the exit that was only for theatre patrons. We had a good experience at this theatre. The air conditioning in the theatre was just right too.
