The staff (the auntie) was super rude even though it was HER mistake. She keyed in the wrong amount of money at the cashier, and I PayNowed more money than I should have. Even though my first words were, "Oh, sorry, I already transferred," she instantly blamed me and did NOT even apologize at all. It's not about the money issue, but the service here. Seriously, what kind of attitude and service is this auntie giving? Rude tone and attitude.

I feel that the staff's service could be improved, particularly that of the full-time female staff. It feels like she is always on a mood swing. This has happened more than once already. Today, I was queuing, waiting to be served. The older female staff saw me but couldn't be bothered and continued her kitchen duties. I saw a young male staff resting at a table and called out to him, hoping he would take my order. He ignored me; he was probably on a break. Just a note that there were already 3 other people queuing behind me, and 2 of them left since the staff couldn't be bothered. I was seriously annoyed because the older female staff was on her best behavior when the audit team came down the other day. Double standards! I get it, you're preoccupied with preparing a lot of orders in the kitchen. However, please at least let us know that your colleague would be back shortly from his break and would serve us soon, instead of leaving us hanging for so long. Luckily, another young male staff came back (from his break, I think, and he's the most polite one; he took my previous order) and took my order. Snackz It! Please do something to improve your customer service at your Lot One outlet. Thanks.

Note that this store is only for takeaway. The sitting area behind is for the Beef Noodle Store. I would have appreciated it if the cashier had made this known at the point of ordering (I even told her I would be sitting behind), or if there were clearer signage.

One of the staff was very rude: I asked my mum to place the order for 1 x mala chicken mee sua + crispy chicken combo 1 x mala oyster mee sua + crispy chicken combo 1 x original oyster mee sua and she showed it to the staff. The staff instead gave us red hot chicken combo. When she confronted him about the mistake, he refused to change the order for us and insisted he was right, claiming he gave us Mala chicken as requested. What about the Mala oyster then? How can he explain that? His attitude was bad, and we were stuck with the wrong order because he refused to change it and didn't want to admit he made a mistake. Note: The receipt didn't even contain the word Mala. If he was unsure, he could have clarified with us.

The Mee Sua is good. That's about it. The crispy chicken uses thin slices of chicken breast meat and is not flavourful. There's a stingy use of condiments. The crust is also not crispy enough. The fried mushrooms are overcooked. The flour on the outside is both soggy and hard to chew. It was the worst among all. The spicy chicken was so-so. Its taste is closer to a mala-like spicy taste, yet it's missing the spiciness. Overall, 3 stars.

Don't accept PayWave, making it troublesome for customers. Ordered oyster mee sua, but there were no oysters. The taste was so mediocre.

Bought pork braised rice for $8.50. No pork. Only canned food and lots of rice. Veg serving is generous. Would I buy it again? I'd probably eat a combat ration. At least that is more filling and nutritious.

If every service staff in Singapore is like this full-time aunty, Singapore's Food and Beverage industry is thoroughly doomed. I've seen her many times walking past the stall and patronised many times, but was always served by the Filipino full-time guy. Today, I ordered two combo sets. I told her I couldn't understand what question she was asking me, so I asked her to repeat herself nicely. Yet, she lashed out at me impatiently and was very rude. The other Filipino guy offered to serve me, but she insisted on getting my order. I had to top up money in my Grab account, and she just stared at me with a resting B-face and stated the price of my food again in a demanding tone. Mind you, I used a very nice tone to talk to her the whole time. I understand that working in this industry is not easy, but the least you can do is talk to your customers nicely. Otherwise, where will the customer retention rate go? I'm usually not the type to write a complaint, but this is too much, and I hope the management does something to remind the aunty to be nice to customers, considering the number of people I've seen complain about her in the reviews here. I went there today, 12/12/2023, and ordered a Crispy Chicken. The food was okay, but the customer service was exceptional, easily 7 stars. The cashier's energy level was very positive; they were upselling, promoting products to passersby, and were also very polite and friendly. It was so good to see staff working with passion and a positive attitude. And a special mention to the person working quickly behind the scenes to get the orders out. I didn't manage to get anyone's names as it was dinner peak period, and I didn't want to disturb them during their busy shift. Well done, give yourselves a pat on the back!

I have been buying from this store quite a few times, but this time they really disappointed me. Today, I bought their crispy chicken, and there was one strand of hair stuck in the batter. I wanted to let it slide and just threw the piece away, but when I picked up a second piece, I found another strand of hair. The staff was not wearing hair netting. On another occasion, another staff member was also flipping his long hair while adding seasonings to my chicken. I was very disgusted, and it ruined my appetite. I called their outlet, but there was no answer. I then had to walk back to the mall to get a refund. What a waste of my time!
