I went to this stall on August 8, 2022, at 2:20 PM at Lot One. There was an impolite auntie. I ordered sweet potato fritters, and she told me the person doing the frying went out for lunch. She said, "If you want, I can do it for you, but you'll have to wait a very long time." This auntie was so inconsiderate, as she would only do her part and not other people's jobs. And she kept saying, "Next time, don't come at this time!" Who knows what time the person went for lunch? For example, if this auntie, who served as both order-taker and cashier, went for lunch or to the toilet, could the staff doing the frying say, "Don't come at this time; I cannot take orders or collect cash"? This was ridiculous. I waited for not even a minute, and she passed the food to me. I wonder if the sweet potato was overnight leftover food.

Visited on 13 June 2024, 6:10pm - The staff today are so friendly! There used to be an unfriendly auntie who was very impatient with customers. But it’s totally different today. Thank you all for being so smiley despite having to stand for long hours!

Only 3 super small oysters in the Mee Sua. Disappointing. See the photos.

Beware. This is a shop for takeaway only, without proper warning. I wasted 10 bucks.

The staff member (the 'auntie') was super rude, even though it was HER mistake. She keyed in the wrong amount of money at the register, and I PayNowed more money than I should have. Even though my first words were, 'Oh, sorry, I already transferred,' she instantly blamed me and DID NOT even apologize at all. It's not about the money issue, but the service here. Seriously, what kind of attitude and service is this 'auntie' giving? Her tone and attitude were rude.

I feel that the staff's service could be improved, particularly that of the full-time female staff member. She always seems to be on a mood swing, and this has happened more than once already. Today, I was queuing, waiting to be served. The older female staff member saw me but couldn't be bothered and continued her kitchen duties. I saw a young male staff member resting at a table and called out to him, hoping he would take my order. He ignored me; he was probably on a break. Note that there were already three other people queuing behind me, and two of them left because the staff couldn't be bothered. I was seriously annoyed because the older female staff member was on her best behavior when the audit team visited the other day. Double standards. I understand you're preoccupied with many orders, preparing food in the kitchen. However, please at least let us know that your colleague would be back shortly from his break and would serve us soon, instead of leaving us hanging for so long. Luckily, another young male staff member returned (from his break, I believe, and he's the most polite one; he took my previous order before) and took my order. Snackz It! Please improve your customer service at the Lot One outlet. Thanks.

Note that this store is only for takeaway. The sitting area behind is for the Beef Noodle Store. I would have appreciated it if the cashier had made this known at the point of ordering (I even told her that I would be sitting behind) or if there had been a clear indication.

One of the staff was very rude: I asked my mum to place the order for: 1 x Mala Chicken Mee Sua + Crispy Chicken Combo 1 x Mala Oyster Mee Sua + Crispy Chicken Combo 1 x Original Oyster Mee Sua She presented the order to the staff. The staff instead gave us the Red Hot Chicken Combo. When she confronted him about the mistake, he refused to change the order and insisted he was right, claiming he gave us Mala Chicken as requested. What about the Mala Oyster then? How can he explain that? Due to his bad attitude, we were stuck with the wrong order because he refused to change it and wouldn't admit his mistake. Note: The receipt didn't even contain the word 'Mala'. If he was unsure, he could have clarified with us.

The Mee Sua is good. That's about it. The crispy chicken uses thin slices of chicken breast meat and is not flavourful. There was a stingy use of condiments, and the crust was also not crispy enough. The fried mushrooms were overcooked. The flour on the outside was both soggy and hard to chew. It was the worst among all. The spicy chicken was so-so. Its taste was closer to a mala-like spicy taste, yet it was missing the spiciness. Overall, 3 stars.
