Have been buying from this store quite a few times. But this time they really disappointed me.
Bought their crispy chicken today and there was one strand of hair stuck in the batter, wanted to let it slide and just threw the piece away, but picked up a second piece to find another strand of hair. Staff was not wearing hair netting. On another occasion, another staff also was flipping his long hair while adding seasonings to my chicken. Very disgusted and ruined my appetite. Called their outlet but no pick up, Had to walk back to the mall to get a refund, what a waste of my time.

I went to this stall on 08Aug2022 at 2.20pm at LOT ONE. There is one auntie not so polite. I order sweet potato fritters and she told me the person doing the frying went out for lunch. She says if you want I can do it for you but you have to wait very long. See how inconsiderate is this auntie which she will only do her part and will not do other people’s job. And she keep saying next time don’t come at this timing. Who knows what time the person went for lunch. For example if this auntie is taking order cum cashier and she go for lunch or toilet, can the staff doing frying says don’t come at this timing, I cannot take order or collect cash? This is very ridiculous. I waited for not even a minute and she pass the food to me. Ii wonder the sweet potato is it overnight left over food.

the staff ( the auntie ) was super rude even though it was HER mistake. she keyed in the wrong amount of money in the cashier, and i paynowed more money than i should. even though my first words was oh sorry i already transferred, she instantly blamed me and DID NOT even apologised at all. its not about the money issue, but the service here. seriously, what kind of attitude and service is this auntie giving? rude tone and attitude

I feel that the service of the staff could be improved, particularly the female full-time staff. Feels like she is always on a mood swing. It happened more than once already.
Today, I was queuing, waiting for someone to serve me. The old female staff saw me and could not be bothered and continue her kitchen duties. I saw there was a young male staff resting on the table and I called out to him in the hopes that he would take my order. He ignored me, probably he was on a break. Just a note that there was already 3 other people queuing behind me and 2 of them left since the staff could not be bothered. I was seriously pissed because the old female staff was like on her best behaviour when the audit team came down on the other day. Double standards.
I get it, you’re preoccupied with a lot of orders preparing the food in the kitchen. However, please at least let us know that your colleague would be coming back shortly from his break and would serve us shortly instead of leaving us there hanging for god how long.
Luckily, there was another young male staff who came back (from his break I think and the most polite one, he took my previous order before) and took my orders.
Snackz It! Please do something to improve your customer service at Lot One’s outlet here. Thanks.

Note that this store is only for takeaway... the sitting area behind is for the Beef Noodle Store. Would have appreciated if the cashier had made this known at the point of ordering (I even told her that I would be sitting behind) or if there is clear indication.

One of the staff was very rude:
I asked my mum to place the order for
1 x mala chicken meesua + crispy chicken combo
1 x mala oyster mee sua + crispy chicken combo
1 x original oyster mee sua
and she showed to the staff. The staff instead gave us red hot chix combo instead. When she confronted him that he made a mistake, he refused to change the order for us and insisted he was right, claiming he gave us MALA chicken as requested. What about the MALA oyster then? How can he explain that?
Bad attitude and we were stuck with the wrong order because he refused to change it and didn't want to admit he made a mistake.
Note: the receipt didn't even contain the word MALA. If he's unsure, he could have clarified with us.

Mee sua is good. That's about it. Crispy chicken uses thin slice of chicken breast meat n is not flavourful. Stingy use of condiments. The crust is also not crispy enough. Fried mushroom is overcooked. The flour on the outside is both soggy and hard to chew. The worst among all.
Spicy chicken was so - so. Taste is closer to mala kinda spicy taste yet missing the spiciness.
Overall 3 stars

Bought pork braised rice for $8.5. No pork. Only canned food and lots of rice. Veg serving is generous.
Would i buy it again? I probably eat combat ration. At least that is more filling and nutrious.

If every service staff in Singapore is like the full timer aunty, Singapore’s Food and beverage industry is thoroughly doomed. Have seened her many times walking past the stall and patronised many times but was served by the Filipino full timer guy. Today, I ordered two combo sets and I told her that, I couldn’t understand what question she was asking me, so I asked her to repeat herself nicely and yet she lashed out at me impatiently and was very rude. The other Filipino guy offered to serve me but she insisted on getting my order. I had to top up money in my grab account and she just stared at me with a resting b face and said in a demanding tone about the price of my food again. Mind you, I used a very nice tone to talk to her the whole time. Usually I understand that working in this industry is not easy, but the least you can do is to talk to your customers nicely, if not where will the customer retention rate go ? Usually not the type that will write a complaint but this is too much and I hope the management does something to remind the aunty to be nice to the customers considering the amount of people that I have seened complained about her in the reviews here. Peace out bro.

Went there today 12/12/2023, ordered a Crispy Chicken. The Food was ok, but the customer service was at least 7 stars and above, the energy level of the cashier was very positive, up selling, promoting products when people walk by and also very polite and friendly,
So happy to see staff work with passion and a positive attitude.
Let's not forget the guy behind working fast to get the order out. I didn't manage to get anyone names as it was dinner peak period. Didn't want to disturb their work duty.
Well done, give yourself a pat on your back!!!
