i share the sentiments of how some aunties can act around customers. they have own temperament, but appreciate them still in the workforce.
i remember they got one Filipino guy working here many years ago. i though he was Thai because his skin very fair. He would always come up to me (and all customers) all smiles and greeting. i wonder where that man is.
also price seemed lower than the rest and Lot 1 big and more items and variety to choose.
Please bring back Filipino man with great customer service. i dont see in other shops also anymore, just all aunties lah, habis

The staff there are quite curt and black faced, I don’t know why. The promoter was helpful but the unity staff themselves were very unhelpful and quite abrupt like you owe them just by asking questions.
If customers know all your rules and regulations, or products, then we can be retailer; no need to be asking you.
Also the shop is not very well stocked. Items not so many and sold out frequently. No wonder people go to guardian or watsons to buy instead of here.

Bought a few supplements and I didn't realise that one was due to expire in 6 months until Maina at the cashier switched it to a longer expiration date one for me. 👍🏻 …

There are two female Unity staff there when I visited on 2 Jul 2024 @ 606pm. The Malay staff was professional in giving her service. The Tamil staff, who was at the cashier seems to be day dreaming. I was queuing at the cashier but when it was my turn, she refused to serve me, and instead asked the customer behind me to come forward. It need the help of the Malay staff to tell her that I was indeed in the queue, and she reluctantly serve me 😡😡

I went to Unity Pharmacy at Lot 1 on March 29, 2025, and was very upset with the service. The new pharmacist, a lady, was disrespectful, and the Unity promoter staff, a Malay and a Tamil lady, were laughing at customers and talking behind their backs. This only made things worse for people who were already sick.
I didn’t say anything to them and just ignored it, but it’s hard to ignore such unprofessional behavior.
The only person who treated me well was the promoter from Holistic Way. She was kind, helpful, and showed respect.
Unity Pharmacy really needs to hire better staff. If this keeps happening, it will harm their reputation. Customers deserve respect and should be able to shop without being treated badly.

I visited Lot 1 Unity on March 29, 2025, to buy a supplement to help with wound recovery and boost my immune system. Unfortunately, the new hire pharmacist on duty was mocking me along with the Malay Unity staff, showing a lack of care and respect.
However, the promoter from Holistic Way provided excellent service and proved to be a trustworthy person. She not only guided me to the counter for payment but also helped me place the item in my bag, knowing that I couldn’t squat due to my surgery, as I was experiencing severe bleeding. She even advised me to rest at home and take medical leave. I truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism.
Unity Pharmacy should consider hiring better staff, especially the Unity staff, as the newly hired pharmacist’s behavior was unacceptable. Customers deserve respect and proper service.

Good customer service from the staff, but the management should seriously consider hiring better pharmacists. The one on duty today was extremely racist and did not even bother to attend to us despite us standing there for a few minutes, looking at the medications. Spoke to us like we were illiterates and did not bother giving us any kind of additional information about the medicine we were enquiring about. Very rude and curt, and she made us feel like we were bothering her. I don’t understand how she can be hired as a professional when she displays such attitude towards minority races. I really hope the management can look into this matter and hire better pharmacists who are willing to provide help to the customers.

I visited the pharmacy shop on 17th June and was genuinely impressed by the excellent service I received. The pharmacist Jin Ning was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain how to use the rash cream medication. She patiently answered all my questions and made sure I understood the correct way of using, timing, and possible side effects. Her guidance gave me a lot of confidence in managing my condition. It’s rare to come across such caring and informative service—highly recommended!
