Used to be better. The store size shrank by a lot, and variety is very limited. The Woodlands or Westgate locations would be better for variety.

Staff need training in customer service. Their customer service and product knowledge are very poor. They don't seem to know anything when approached. Cashiers are very slow, resulting in long queues. At times, the cashiers can be very rude and like to hard-sell cookbooks and even sauces during check-out.

I used to find their products okay. But in recent months and years, the quality of the products they carry falls short of acceptable standards, e.g., a ruler with blurred markings.

Decently located with amenities nearby. Situated in a shopping mall with a neighboring MRT station and Bus Interchange, it allows for ease of access. The unit is also quite close to the entrances, requiring only about 2-3 escalator rides. There is quite a wide selection of items, including but not limited to electronics, books, stationery, and some tidbits. Overall, it's one of the better popular shops if you are planning to purchase items.

It is a convenient place to get stationery and textbooks for the school year. There are many different books offered for purchase, such as story books for both children and adults. The service here is generally good. However, there are limited cashier counters, and usually during peak times such as school holidays, it takes around 10 minutes waiting in the queue to purchase items. Overall, it is a good shopping experience, and I would definitely come back.

Highly recommended to buy in bundles. Some assessment books **have** 25% off when bought in 3 or more, so plan your purchase before buying. **The** POSB Everyday Card has **a** voucher for purchases over $100, so buy everything you need in one visit instead of going a few times.

The cashier didn't ask if I was a member, like they usually do. When I gave her my card (right away), she said she already made the bill, so I can't use my membership. This all happened in a minute because she was busy talking to her coworker while I was checking out. I was annoyed but didn't say anything and just paid anyway. Please, you always ask for the membership before making the bill; I thought this was common sense.

Some popular bookstores have closed down in Singapore. Thank GOD, this one at LOT 1 is still in operation! I managed to buy an organiser for 2024.

The most neighborhood-friendly bookstore in Singapore. You can always find a branch near you.

I really like coming to this store. There’s a staff member named Lim who is very helpful. Lim came to ask if we needed help, and shared the assessment books they have in store. I've never had this experience from other Popular bookstores, and I wanted to compliment Lim by writing to Popular, but he humbly said there’s no need to. Kudos to Lim, so the least I could do is to leave a review here.
