Unfriendly salesperson can't even help in basic enquiry and what's worst, there are only a 2 customers in the shop. Good job in turning customers away from this service provider

Horrible customer service. Worst experience ever at any outlet supposed to deal with customers. Guy at the store does know how to talk to customer. Speaks like robot, has no intent to help customers, misbehaves and just keeps making excuses to go to other outlet. If SingTel is serious about customer experience , need to look into such awful behaviour.

I came today somewhere between 12.15pm to 12.30pm. There were 2 staffs when i entered at that time. Both were not welcoming and just sitting down and ignoring the presence of a customer. So i had to approach one of them, who is apparent a Chinese lady with shoulder hair length and was wearing the red Singtel uniform (cos there was another taller lady wearing a dark blue uniform). So i came today as i urgently need a phone. So first i enquired why i couldn't purchase it online as it was asking for a Singtel service account no. when i am actually a new user. She said she doesn't know how to deal with it as she never experience it before. She didn't even bother to help me find out, and claimed herself as just a retailer and nothing much she can do. So instead, she said i can just purchase it at the shop. Ok fine. So when i said i wanted Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Silver Shadow. She said she didn't have any at the outlet. So i asked if she could help me find out which other outlet is available. After she "checked", she said no other outlet has the colour that i wanted. Ok fine again! So i said never mind, i would just get the one in Blue which she claimed the only one available there. But when i asked for the 512GB capacity, she said she doesn't have it either. She only has the 256GB. So i asked again, if other outlet is available. Without her going over to the computer to check again, she said every other outlets also not available. I couldn't be bothered to argue with her. With her not interested kinda approach, i guess there is no point to even waste a minute in the shop. So i just left.
So eventually, i managed to purchase my phone online. And guess what? The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Silver Shadow and with a capacity of 512GB is available at Bukit Panjang outlet which i'll go over to collect it later. So now i wonder, what did she even check at the computer where she claimed whatever i requested for is nowhere to be available?
Singtel, i think you need to review on your staff one by one. Cos apparently i saw there are other negative feedback on other staff in this outlet. I should have put a little more effort and waste a little more time to go over to Hillion outlet instead as advised by my husband as he had good experience with the staff there.

Went to the shop on friday afternoon, as we wanted to enquire about sim only plan for my dad. There were 2 staff sitting inside and was having some conversation among themselves. We stepped in, was looking around but no one approached us to ask if we needed help. Hence my mum said need to self service to get a queue number. Just as i was taking out my phone to scan the qr code on the wall then a guy came out to ask if we need help in the most unwelcoming and unfriendly tone. That look on the guy’s face looks like i did wrong to him. I’m honestly questioning is that the correct attitude to customers? We didnt even say anything and yet given that attitude. We then asked about what are the sim only plan available as wanted to switch for my dad, and asked about the promo i received in email, whether we can contract that in the shop. His tone is really so so so rude like ‘ what do u want to find out’ and ‘ what is your purpose to enquire at the sim only plans’ ? Wow his attitude and the questions he asked with that tone is really mind blowing. Customers are always reminded not to abuse the staff but yet the staff is showing attitude to customers when the customer didnt even say anything. Respect has to be mutual.

Giving this outlet a thumbs down because of how unfriendly and unhelpful some staff were. Wanted to enquire about the various mobile plans for senior citizens but to my dismay, the staff who was attending to me was extremely aloof and judgemental. She did not seem interested to provide details unless probed. She even assumed that we were unable to make the full payment upfront and offered us various installment plans. When told that we wanted to make payment upfront instead, she seemed taken aback. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and it does feel like microaggression towards a minority race. Disappointed in such customer service from a reputable Telco like Singtel, and will never be patronising this outlet ever again.

Very disappointed with the service at Singtel. The staff were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in helping. They made a mistake with my order, and I had to go out of my way to return—yet there was no apology or effort to make things right. Poor customer service all around.

Google Review (1 Star):
When I walked into the store, no one attended to me. After some time, a manager (I assume) assigned a lady adviser (red cloth sitting LH from the photo) to assist me, but she completely ignored me and continued chatting with her colleague. Only after the manager reminded her again did she reluctantly come over. I was there to inquire about a Wi-Fi package, but she didn’t even ask what I needed. She just assumed I had a modem issue because I was holding one. When I questioned if she knew why I was there, she admitted she assumed it was about the modem. Only after I explained my need did someone else overhear and step in to assist. The lady adviser had a sour attitude throughout the entire interaction, which was very unprofessional. Absolutely disappointing experience.

6 Aug around 7.00pm 7.30pm..
I visited the store to assist my domestic helper with reactivating her Singtel prepaid card, but the staff (an auntie) simply brushed us off and told us to go to the main branch at Causeway Point — without offering any proper help or explanation.
It felt like we were not welcome because it wasn’t a big-ticket purchase. I can’t help but think we would have received different treatment if we were there to buy a new iPhone.
I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures staff are trained to treat every customer with respect, regardless of the transaction size. No one should be made to feel unimportant or dismissed.

In May, a door to door SingTel canvassers knocked at our door to promote SingTel home BB. Monthly subscription $40++ with GST. But in order to enjoy the promotion we have to include a ADD ON video on demand which cost additional 13.97++ with GST meaning for the next 6 month we have to lost $91.36 with GST for video that we don’t want, Chinese program we don’t watch, no time to watch too. As a public listing and a GLC company it is like getting us to spend our money for something we don’t need. Kindly look into a more useful promotion instead of giving us rubbish.

Frontline services are never easy and have to attend to all kind of customers. Nigel is helpful & patience to share the brand of phone and data plan which is beneficial to customers. As the transfer of data from one mobile phone to another requires some time to complete it, he made effort to strike daily life conversion after he settled the paperwork and no other customer required to be serve.

Manage your expectation before venturing in to this outlet. I was there to do an equipment change for a faulty router. There were 2 staff, one lady attending to a customer, while the other gentlemen working intensely on the computer. I approached the latter and stated my request. He told me to wait and take a seat. He then worked on the computer for a while more before attending to me. Meanwhile another elderly customer walked in and he was told to get a queue number from the "wall". The staff got my requested sorted out and managed my expectation along the way by telling me to take a seat and wait for about 10 minutes. In and out, it took me 20 minutes, no smiles, no greetings, no small talks, just cold efficiency. Excellent. One star is lost for Singtel inconsideration to the elderly who may face problems getting a queue number from the "wall".
