As usual chain, fast and efficient service. But, the problems with the shop must be turn over of hair stylist and improper standard. Different Hair Stylist different method even in same hair design.
I always been there because convenience and near to my location. Last few days, the stylist was young and not in presentable. I understand newbie and need to train. But, He is impatient , rough and the worst things is he didn't see how is the outcome of customer hair. He just doing his job and didn't care how the customer look like.
Cleaning of the hair also wasn't throughout. there are so many hair stick on my neck and inside.
Hope this will be last visit .

one of the hairdresses here, a lady with a bob haircut, gave my sister a really bad haircut. she didn't understand simple instructions like cut above eyebrows and cut 5cm length, which is kinda shameful because you're supposed to be a hairdresser. she also kept talking to her friends while cutting her hair. i know its supposed to be a express hairdresser and we can't expect similar treatment to that of a salon, but i think the hairdressers here should at least have the basic understanding of following the instructions a customer gives, since we're paying them money. if you don't even understand the meaning of cut above eyebrows and cut 5cm, then i personally don't think you should choose to be a hairdresser. If you don't respect your customer, then don't work in such a sector. very disappointing. even if we're students, it doesn't mean we should have a very short haircut- especially when it's cut to such an ugly style. Happened on 20 December, 6:15pm.

Subject: Urgent Feedback Regarding Staff Conduct on 09/08/2025 Lot One brands
Dear [ec house cut hair stylist owners or Manager],
I would like to give urgent feedback regarding one of your staff members — a short-haired lady with yellow-silver hair — during my visit on 09/08/2025 at around 14:51PM.
Her behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. She displayed a poor attitude, had no patience, and even raised her voice at customers. When I brought my 3-year-old daughter for a simple fringe cut, she called out to me in a very angry tone (“Hello, Auntie!”) which was unnecessary and unpleasant.
As paying customers (I paid $14 for the haircut), we expect basic respect and service, not this kind of treatment. This experience completely spoiled our day. If such behavior continues, I believe more customers will be discouraged from visiting your shop.
I request a call from the manager or owner as soon as possible to address this matter.
Thank you for your attention.

Hairdresser did not follow my instructions; specifically told her that the shortest part of the fringe has to be long enough so that it's touching the eyebrow, but she cut it around one inch shorter. So now the shortest part of my fringe is in the middle of my forehead, which is precisely what I did NOT want. Well done for not understanding your customer's needs, perhaps because you were chatting with your colleague the whole time?
To be fair, I had a good experience here before, so perhaps it's just this particular staff.

I brought my elderly father, who is in a wheelchair, to EC House at Lot One Shopping Mall (#03-03) today (6/1/22) at about 2 PM, intending to get my dad a haircut.
There was a Malay family (young parents and two kids) in the queue. Two female barbers were serving two other customers inside the barbershop. As I pushed my dad to join the queue behind the Malay family, the two barbers looked out and stared at us unfriendlily. One of them walked out and asked if my dad would be sitting in his wheelchair for the haircut. I said yes, as he is disabled and unable to move. Immediately, she said they would not be able to serve my dad because bending low would be difficult for them! I was stunned, and she walked back into her shop. A while later, she walked out again and asked me to come back tomorrow!
I was very, very disappointed by the rude and unfriendly way they treated their potential customer! Refusing to provide service to a disabled elderly man is truly unacceptable behavior! They are so inconsiderate and harsh!
In fact, this is not the first time they have been rude to a customer! The previous time we visited, a lady (I'm not sure if it was the same one) who cut my dad's hair at this same barbershop (EC House at Lot One) was also very unfriendly and rude to him!
I will never, ever go to EC House at Lot One again!
Terrible attitude towards elderly people! Don't forget you will also get old one day! (A reminder to these two female barbers.)

Like a typical chain, the service was fast and efficient. However, the problems with the shop seem to be the high turnover of hair stylists and inconsistent standards. Different hair stylists use different methods, even for the same hair design.
I have always gone there because of its convenience and proximity to my location. On my most recent visit, the stylist was young and not very presentable. I understand they were new and needed training. However, he was impatient and rough, and the worst thing was that he didn't check the outcome of my hair. He was just doing his job and didn't seem to care how the customer looked.
The cleanup of the hair also wasn't thorough. There were so many hairs stuck on my neck and inside my clothes.
I hope this was my last visit.

Went there to have a haircut for my son. While the nice uncle neatly cut my son's hair, the overall experience was terrible because of another hairdresser within the shop. He's a guy with tattoos on his arm and sporting a 'birdnest'-like hairstyle. After paying for my elder son's haircut, I carried my younger child to the wooden bench inside. There was another customer who came later, and that 'birdnest' hairdresser shouted at me to give up my seat to him. Mind you, I'm also a paying customer, and I'm not impressed by your tattoos. TBH, if my children weren't with me, I would confront him directly. To that 'birdnest' hairdresser, if you want to act like a gangster, please try harder.

The Chinese barber was very rude. He didn't even know what hairstyle I wanted, and even talked back to me using very rude language. Please kindly teach him basic customer service. Thank you.
