This place used to be amazing when it first opened, and the staff used to be friendly and obliging. Now there are new faces and the quality of food has dropped drastically! Bread are all extremely thin, and not even toasted properly. It wasn’t even hot at all and the butter was still solid, completely unmelted. The bread used was the last miserly slice of the loaf, and not even a complete slice. Soft buns were not even soft, and all the breads were nothing near what was shown in the menu! Very small portion sizes and very disappointing. The staff should also advise patrons who are alone not to take up an entire booth seat.

Wa, horrible food. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Drinks diluted af.
Was leaving the shop when I heard the cashier lady raising her voice @ an elderly. Was there a need to raise your voice? Not everyone is tech-savy.

Staff attitude was super bad, didn’t bother to ask for order and show black face. Bought ice kopi and she did not even pour till the brim, she left a good 1.5cm empty at the top. Have 0 interest to serve. Will give 0 stars if possible.

Every Sunday, my wife & I will patronise Toast Box at Choa Chu Kang Food Function for coffee & cake after our meal. It had been quite sometime the taste of the coffee here is very inconsistent. Today, it gotten from bad to worse and our coffees tasted like plain water. Unlike at Toast Box Jurong Point, we usually had our coffee & cake there on almost every Saturday afternoon & the coffee is always fantastic.

The tables never clean while the staff seems quite free. Not really friendly when I requested to change the coffee as they gave the wrong one, even blame me for not telling her the correct order..
The toast was thick and hard, Otak otak with cheese is kind of a weird combination and a little bit of spicy. Price is average. Nothing special here.

Very slow service. 3 ladies at the front counter - 1 cashier, 1 kopi maker and 1 toasting the bread. Every other other can see the 3 of them being confused to what's next that they should do.... and who is the order for. Hence alot time is wasted. An auntie custoner could not stand looking at their slow service even left the queue.

Went for take away coffee 130 pm on 29/12/24 black coffee not covered properly, furthermore, the male staff who made the beverages, was rude when I asked when I asked him where were the soft boiled eggs I ordered? He rudely held up the plastic bag, and said, ‘Here, here!” His voice as loud as the aunty who reluctantly calling out loud to the customers for those food she prepared were ready. Not a nice place for take away, I wouldn’t recommend to friends.

Disappointed with Service at Fun Toast
I visited your Lot One outlet and requested otah toast without cheese, but the cashier told me it wasn’t possible as the toast was “pre-prepared.” When I asked if it was because the toast was frozen and not freshly made, she simply said “no” — without any further explanation or assistance.
Her dismissive tone and body language gave the impression that she was unhappy to be working, and she made no effort to help or clarify our request. We felt brushed off.
To make it worse, when we received the food (see attached photo), it was obvious that cheese could easily have been left out. This shows either poor training or just unwillingness to accommodate simple and reasonable requests.
We’re regular customers and this experience was very disappointing. I hope Fun Toast will seriously review staff training on both customer service and basic flexibility, especially when it comes to dietary preferences.

Here are a few options, choose the one that best fits the desired tone:
**Option 1 (Slightly more formal):**
"Ordered the toast, but the staff forgot about it. Waited a while. There were so many staff members, but no one bothered; they were just chit-chatting away."
**Option 2 (Closer to original brevity):**
"Ordered the toast, but the staff forgot about it. Waited a while. So many staff, yet no one bothered. They were just chit-chatting away."
**Option 3 (Very minimal changes):**
"Ordered the toast, but the staff forgot about it. Waited a while. So many staff, but no one bothered. They were just chit-chatting away."
I recommend **Option 3** as it makes the most minimal necessary changes while fixing the grammar and improving readability.
**Reasoning for changes in Option 3:**
* "forgotten" changed to "forgot" (correct past tense).
* Added a comma before "but" for better flow when connecting clauses.
* "awhile" is correct, but "a while" is sometimes preferred when used after "waited." Both are acceptable. I kept "awhile" for minimal change.
* "no one bother" changed to "no one bothered" (correct past tense).
* "Chit chatting away" was a fragment; made it a complete sentence ("They were just chit-chatting away") and clarified who was doing the chit-chatting.
* Replaced ".." with periods for standard punctuation.

I enjoyed my ice yuan Yang c kosong with grass jelly so much! The coffee taste is one of the best among so many other Fun Toast outlets! Another happy moment is that the people working here are friendly, polite and nice :)

It was decent. The staff was nice and has checked our vaccine status before we went in to dine. The food was prepared at a decent time and it was hot. It is convenient to reach for most shoppers as it is near an escalator. It serves a variety of bread and side dishes that are not commonly associated with a local bread shop. Overall had a good experience here and would definitely come back again to eat with my families and friends.

Ice Teh @ $2.70, too big-sized can finish it but the taste is good. Seating capacity is limited but cosy.

I love the siew mai. It really very good and can be addictive. The curry chicken with bread is good too.
The staff at the cashier and making coffee/ tea are usually very friendly.

It had been a while since I came to Lot 1! Happy to bump into Fun Toast at this mall!
Food - tasty and the bread is sooo nice
Drinks - had to give them credit on this as I found their gauge on sugar level is very good! Won’t give you the “heavy & guilty” feeling after you finished the drinks🤣
Only down side is the space is kinda small🤓
Ann Meow
Curry chicken with soft bun ($6.80) was delightful - the bun is toasted so it tasted like baguette, a good pair with curry. 4 chicken wings are just nice - if only got more curry gravy!
Would be back again to try other items on menu.
Note: Opening hours begin from 9.30am (wished it was earlier so i can have breakfast) contrary to what's on Google.
