I usually don't write reviews online, but with this recent experience, I told myself it was best to be honest about what my nephew and I felt when we bought drinks from this stall.
I was saddened by the gentleman's treatment of my nephew and me when we visited Nine Fresh at Basement 1 in Lot One on 27 July 2021, around 6pm. While the milk tea and the fruity ayou jelly we bought were very tasty (we liked them a lot), the gentleman could have been more professional. He was impatient when it took us a bit of time to decide what to buy, and he was offensively impolite in asking for a smaller bill, which I couldn't provide because I only had two $50 bills in my wallet at that time. His tone of voice, paralanguage, and body language spoke volumes.
I understand how hard people work every day, and why. I can empathize with them, especially as many of us are making ends meet during this pandemic (including myself). However, we must not forget that customers deserve professional and proper treatment, regardless of the circumstances. I'm writing this as a piece of advice to the gentleman. His conduct at that moment was unbecoming and needs reflection and change.

Dishonest establishment. I ordered the 2 desserts for $5.80 from the sale poster, but was charged $7.40 instead and only realized this when I got home. I also did not receive a receipt for my purchase, and I paid in cash, so there is no proof. I highly do not recommend.

I want to highlight how dishonest the cashier staff was on the evening of 9th March 2022. I opted for a DIY Bowl and was charged accordingly for the topping. When she was closing the lid, she should have noticed that the topping was not there, yet she still packed and sent it off. It was only when I reached home that I realised. Yes, the amount is not a lot, but this speaks volumes about the staff’s integrity and laziness. Young lady, continue with this dishonesty and passive work ethic, and you’ll never make it far in life.

18/4/22. I walked into the Nine Fresh shop, which is located at Lot One Mall. I asked the staff: "Can I change beancurd 豆花 to grassjelly 仙草 for number 7?"
The staff answered me: "Yes, you can change to grassjelly from beancurd 豆花 at number 7."
I said: "Okay, I want number 7, with the beancurd 豆花 changed to grass jelly, and number 15. Thank you."
The staff said: "Okay, I will change beancurd 豆花 to grass jelly 仙草."
I don't understand why you told me you would change it, and then I found out the beancurd 豆花 was still inside the dessert. What were you girls doing? I am really disappointed with the service, and I didn't like the staff member who was cashiering yesterday. When I said I didn't have small change, she gave me an unhappy face when she helped me tap the card.

An appetising, colourful, and cooling dessert for a hot afternoon. This is one of their signature desserts. Those craving Taiwanese taro ball dessert, especially the 九份 style, should give this a try.

Service was bad. I ordered when it was almost closing time. I understand that the staff wanted to end the day soon, but I was given the 'black face' when we were asking what the toppings were, and told that we could only order whatever was left. While paying, I realised that I was charged à la carte pricing — which turned out to be double the price of the items available on the displayed menu. I feel scammed. Lol.

I queued for 15 to 20 minutes. The moment it was my turn to order, they told me item number 18 was sold out, and a few other things were also sold out at 6:30 PM. Couldn't the staff use common sense when the queue is long? They should inform people about which items are sold out first, or put up a notice.

Hi, I would like to share this experience on behalf of my relatives and some of my rider friends. According to my relatives, they visited the stall just last week and were hurled vulgarities by one of the staff working there. The reason given was that the stall staff felt my relatives were a little rude towards her, though I felt my relatives weren't rude at all. I was there and I saw the whole thing. The vendor even used some Hokkien vulgarities towards some of my rider friends. I have to admit that some of the riders may be having a bad day and may look a little upset when collecting their delayed food, but I still feel that the vendor cannot say 'cb' or 'f you' to the riders. I experienced this myself just two weeks ago.
Also, my relatives' way of talking may be a little loud, but they weren't angry at the moment. I also saw one of my former rider friends yesterday being scolded by the same staff for collecting an order late, even though it had been prepared and ready half an hour earlier. Furthermore, another female rider told us today that the staff even said she wanted to pick a fight with an Indian couple because she was not in a good mood. Of course, we were taken aback too. The stall staff is a lady with slightly dyed blonde hair, by the way.
We understand that sometimes the staff may be agitated during peak hours, but they still cannot use vulgarities or display an angry attitude towards us. We don't hold anything against you, but we just hope that you could be a little bit better, like before. Previously, the staff were very polite and did not arbitrarily scold customers. We hope that you can be much better in terms of friendliness and be happier at work, even during peak periods. Peace.

I enjoy the desserts, and the mini taro balls are especially soft. So far, I've had zero complaints about this brand/outlet, but the new trainee is a complete mess. I've been served by him two times, and he got my order wrong both times.
8 July 17:45 experience:
1. He kept cutting me off when I tried to order more desserts.
2. Misheard "no bean curd, just grass jelly" as "no grass jelly."
3. Forgot to give me the receipt and ask about the rewards stamps. I had to ask for it.
4. Misheard nata-de-coco as kantan jelly?
Overall, he made a lot of mistakes and did not seem apologetic at all.
Most staff I've had experience with are fine, but this trainee really cannot make it.

I was at this CCK Lot 1 outlet on 29th June, around 5 PM. The queue was really long, with customers having multiple orders, but I felt that staff Aisyah really handled everything well. She was alone tending the whole store, not panicking, memorizing all orders, multi-tasking well, handling all orders as fast as she could, and, most importantly, did not show any signs of impatience or anger.
With her fast pace and hard work, all customers were patiently waiting for her to be done with the orders, even though we had to wait for a while.
Youngsters like her are hard to find nowadays. Management should notice this hardworking girl.
