I was with my daughter at the CCK outlet on February 5, 2023 (Sunday). We were looking for a birthday cake in the display fridge. One rude lady served us. I asked about a 7-inch cake. She didn't even know the size. Her face showed impatience. Mid-service, she went to the washroom. No apology. Totally absurd! I was in a happy mood. I didn't wish to confront her. Finally, we ordered a chocolate cake because my daughter liked that flavor and design. It was at a promotional price! Her lack of product knowledge was evident when I inquired about the size of that particular cake design. That employee at this outlet should also learn how to treat customers politely.

Horrible experience. Had to wait to order as staff was busy looking at the lion dance. Note that other customers were also queueing behind me to order. The waffles received were undercooked and very stingy with the chocolate sauce. Not worth the money. Will not patronize this outlet.

Friendly staff. But ABSURDLY stingy with the waffle toppings. Look at my photo, is this a joke??? And this normally costs 2.50? Absolutely ridiculous at how little they put inside. If you told me it was a cheese waffle, I wouldn't believe you. Save your 2.50, get a McDonald's McChicken instead.

The Black Forest Cake was not too dense and delicious. It was filled with filling between the cake layers, which perfectly matched the cake's taste. The cherries were quite fresh, and the overall presentation of the cake was spectacular and worth the money. The chocolate was rich, and enjoying the cake was a nice overall experience. Bought this for someone's birthday. Highly recommended!

I like their waffles and affordable cakes. I'm not sure why the ratings for this shop are so low. I've been visiting this shop from time to time for many years, and it's been pretty satisfying so far! The auntie is friendly too.

Please have a sign to let customers know where to queue for waffles. People have cut my queue twice when I'm standing where people normally queue. Sometimes, the aunties also take others' orders when I've been standing in front of them for so long, waiting to place mine. The workers don't even lead them to the correct side of the queue. Please address this as soon as possible.

Wanted to order a peanut butter + hazelnut waffle. Based on the pricing in the photo, it should be $2.10 plus $0.90 for additional filling. However, the service crew wanted to charge us $3.20. The reason given was that it was based on $3 for hazelnut and then $0.20 for peanut butter as an additional filling. Yes, it is just a $0.20 difference, but this is false marketing and incorrect pricing since this was not stated clearly in the price list. The filling given was also minimal. See attached photo. This used to be my go-to for waffles. There are better ones out there now. Will avoid.

Usually, I go here for blueberry waffles. The service is… let’s just say bad. The kind of bad where you start wondering if you’ve been cursed. Recently, I just wanted a few pastries and one singular waffle. Easy, right? There were only three customers. I positioned myself directly in front of the waffle-making station like a hawk staking out prey. The other two customers were waiting for their waffles. Suddenly, a new person strolls in, stands behind me, and they took his order first. Either I blended into the décor like a sentient coat rack or my existence registered on some quantum level where it was both acknowledged and ignored at the same time. So, new strategy: I stood in front of the cashier and grabbed a butter cake, not because I wanted it, but because I needed something in case waffles were forever out of reach for me. Then, the waffle station worker looked at me and asked, “Is that all?" Now THIS is my moment. “One blueberry waffle,” I declared, finally locking eyes with destiny. At the register, the other worker repeated my order, I confirmed it, she handed me my bag — by hand, very traditional — and I walked home, victorious. Or so I thought. I opened the bag. Pastries? Check. Butter cake? Check. Blueberry waffle? Missing. Gone. Abducted. Saw it made with my own TWO eyes, but perhaps it was never even put into the bag. I can only hope that in the afterlife, my blueberry waffle and I will be reunited. Until then… I ate the butter cake like it’s my consolation prize from the universe.

Quality dropped, and staff were very rude, especially the cashier lady. After payment, no receipt was given. I purchased it on a weekend at around 5 PM. The sequence of orders was also messy. They would give customers who ordered after you their items first. It’s messy! Moreover, the waffles are no longer Prima Deli standard. Thin and soft. Not worth the brand name and price paid. Disappointing. Peanut: $2.10; Chocolate: $2.40. Please refer to the photo.

Disappointed with my old-school peanut butter waffle as its exterior was not crispy and crunchy, and it paled in comparison to the waffles I had at Prima Deli JP.
