An unfriendly salesperson can't even help with a basic enquiry, and what's worse, there are only 2 customers in the shop. Good job turning customers away from this service provider.

Horrible customer service. Worst experience ever at any customer-facing outlet. The guy at the store doesn't know how to talk to customers. He speaks like a robot, has no intent to help customers, misbehaves, and just keeps making excuses to direct customers to other outlets. If SingTel is serious about customer experience, they need to look into such awful behaviour.

I came today between 12:15 PM and 12:30 PM. There were 2 staff members when I entered at that time. Both were not welcoming, just sitting and ignoring the presence of a customer. So I had to approach one of them, who was apparently a Chinese lady with shoulder-length hair and wearing the red Singtel uniform (because there was another taller lady wearing a dark blue uniform). I came today as I urgently needed a phone. First, I enquired why I couldn't purchase it online, as it was asking for a Singtel service account number even though I am a new user. She said she didn't know how to deal with it, as she had never experienced it before. She didn't even bother to help me find out, claiming she was just a retailer and there wasn't much she could do. So instead, she said I could just purchase it at the shop. Okay, fine. So when I said I wanted the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Silver Shadow, she said she didn't have any at the outlet. So I asked if she could help me find out which other outlet had it available. After she "checked," she said no other outlet had the color that I wanted. Okay, fine again! So I said, "Never mind," I would just get the one in Blue, which she claimed was the only one available there. But when I asked for the 512GB capacity, she said she didn't have it either. She only had the 256GB. So I asked again if other outlets had it available. Without her even going over to the computer to check again, she said every other outlet also didn't have it available. I couldn't be bothered to argue with her. With her disinterested approach, I guessed there was no point in even wasting a minute in the shop. So I just left. So eventually, I managed to purchase my phone online. And guess what? The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Silver Shadow and with a capacity of 512GB was available at the Bukit Panjang outlet, which I will go to collect later. So now I wonder, what did she even check at the computer where she claimed whatever I requested was nowhere to be available? Singtel, I think you need to review your staff one by one. Because apparently, I saw there has been other negative feedback on other staff in this outlet. I should have put a little more effort and wasted a little more time to go to the Hillion outlet instead, as advised by my husband, as he had a good experience with the staff there.

The staff at the Singtel outlet was friendly and took the time to explain the mobile plan thoroughly. He also suggested alternative plans that **are** suitable to meet our needs.

I would like to recommend Wanqi from Singtel, Lot One Branch, for helping me select the best phone and giving insightful advice on the best deals and offers, and I suggest other customers also consider Singtel for these deals, especially with the discounts available. I also recommend her for her polite approach and for giving the best customer service. Thank you, Wanqi. Keep it up!

Went to the shop on Friday afternoon, as we wanted to enquire about a SIM-only plan for my dad. There were two staff members sitting inside and were having a conversation among themselves. We stepped in and were looking around, but no one approached us to ask if we needed help. Hence, my mum said we'd need to self-service to get a queue number. Just as I was taking out my phone to scan the QR code on the wall, a guy then came out to ask if we needed help, in the most unwelcoming and unfriendly tone. That look on the guy's face made it seem like I had done something wrong to him. I'm honestly questioning: Is that the correct attitude toward customers? We didn't even say anything, and yet we were given that attitude. We then asked about what SIM-only plans were available, as we wanted to switch for my dad, and also asked about the promo I had received in an email, and whether we could contract that in the shop. His tone was really so, so, so rude, like, 'What do you want to find out?' and 'What is your purpose to inquire about the SIM-only plans?' Wow, his attitude and the questions he asked with that tone were really mind-blowing. Customers are always reminded not to abuse the staff, but yet the staff was showing attitude toward customers when the customer didn't even say anything. Respect has to be mutual.

Frontline services are never easy, as they have to attend to all kinds of customers. Nigel is helpful and patient in sharing phone brands and data plans, which is beneficial to customers. As the transfer of data from one mobile phone to another requires some time to complete, he made an effort to strike up a conversation about daily life after he settled the paperwork and no other customer required to be served.

I'm giving this outlet a thumbs down because of how unfriendly and unhelpful some staff were. I wanted to inquire about the various mobile plans for senior citizens, but to my dismay, the staff member who was attending to me was extremely aloof and judgmental. She did not seem interested in providing details unless probed. She even assumed that we were unable to make the full payment upfront and offered us various installment plans. When we stated that we wanted to make payment upfront instead, she seemed taken aback. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and it does feel like microaggression towards a minority race. I am disappointed by such customer service from a reputable Telco like Singtel, and I will never be patronizing this outlet ever again.
